LOCATION: Winnipeg, MB
SALARY: $150,000+
A highly successful multi million dollar construction company is searching for an experienced Construction Operations Manager. This is a senior person, who will be responsible for managing several mid-level managers who are in turn responsible for internal and field personnel. Our best candidate will come from a history of institutional, commercial and industrial construction, will have hands-on experience on site, managing projects and ensuring top quality work, satisfied clients, financial success and environmental safety. An entrepreneurial, profit-oriented attitude is important; a person who can see efficiencies and act decisively is critical. This job might appeal to an individual currently in a smaller construction firm and not working to their highest capacity. It might also appeal to a manager in a much larger firm, who would prefer a more hands-on approach. A person with experience in change-management would be valued. Post secondary education in Construction, Business, Engineering or equivalent Construction Operations experience. Must also be familiar with Canadian Construction Codes, Safety Regulations and Project Management Software.
