LOCATION: West of Winnipeg
SALARY: $50,000 to $55,000 DOQ
A successful manufacturing company requires an experienced person to maintain about 12 servers and a number of work stations, laptops and PCs. This person will be involved in design, configuration and maintenance of a local and wide area network (switches, routers, cabling & wireless infrastructure), ensuring all business units are supported. This includes Active Directory, experience with SQL Server, Cisco, telephony, so strong technical skills are required as well as effective communication ability (oral and written). They need a person who is good at problem determination and resolution, who can work directly with users and a small IT department.
Post-secondary education in Systems & Networks, and 3 to 5 years of systems administration experience. MCSE or equivalent certification.
