LOCATION: Winnipeg, MB
SALARY: $40,000 to $55,000 + Commissions
Our client requires an administrative person from the transportation industry to provide analytical and some sales support to their Sales and Marketing Team. This person will develop comprehensive sales reports (weekly/monthly sales reports, sales rep and pricing reports, revenue, distribution, top accounts and client reports), provide phone support, collect, organize and communicate competitive information. S/he will track and analyze pre and postsales programs to gain insight and make recommendations on future programs, provide leadership on special projects, and maintain sales databases. This job includes maintaining their corporate website for accurate and timely sales information and assisting with trade shows, sales training sessions and other industry events. This individual will also handle some sales calls as required. They prefer a person from the industry with analytical and technical knowledge to assess market performance and make recommendations.
Degree or diploma in business, marketing, logistics or equivalent experience. Two years in a similar position would be ideal. Transportation experience is an asset. Previous sales experience is required. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint are required.
Candidates should be able to analyze, interpret and present data effectively, be numerically and detail-oriented and able to communicate well.
