LOCATION: Winnipeg, MB
SALARY: $35,000 to $55,000
Our client requires an experienced individual to dispatch drivers and manage their fleet effectively. This person will maintain and process accurate information, communicate between operations, sales and drivers, ensure drivers are available for loads and monitor activity by satellite. A proactive person is required to analyze information and determine the best methods to increase revenues, minimize expenses and target efficiences. This manager will coordinate activities with ISRs and Planner, will manager driver payroll to ensure accuracy, check driver sheets and handle any of their concerns. Our best candidate will be customer-focused, a leader and a team player with a high sense of integrity. S/he must be able to work in a fast paced environment. This is a job for an analytical problem-solver who can juggle multiple priorities. This well-organized person will also be on call.
Grade 12 or equivalent experience, computer literacy (MS Excel, Word), and a good understanding of TMW, PC Miler, DOT and HOS Regulations. This person should also understand road maps and geography, border crossing tools (Ace, Pars) and broker issues.
